Events Associate
PASCALE CHAMBERLAND
The Events Associate works alongside the rest of the Executive Team in the planning and execution of UWiB activities. She coordinates and oversees the set up and cleanup of events, including the Fundraiser, which includes leading the Events Committee, developing set up/clean up protocol, procuring event food donations, and making all room/equipment reservations and rentals. Management and upkeep of storage items is another function of the Events Associate. She is also responsible for aiding the Director of Fundraiser when needed.
Accepted through the Freshman Direct Program, Pascale Chamberland is currently in her second year at the University of Washington. During her first year of college, she was a dedicated member of UWiB, the research associate for the winning team of the Ikea Case Competition, and a student motivated to reach outstanding academic achievement. She plans to pursue a double degree in Economics and Business Administration with a focus in accounting. After graduation, she hopes to find a job that will challenge her to continue to develop her knowledge in her areas of interest while still maintaining a balanced life.
Outside of school, she loves to spend time with family and friends, watch movies, and read. She is passionate about the outdoors whether it is skiing, camping, hiking, running, or just spending time in the sun. Giving back to the community and helping those in need is very important to her. In addition, she loves to see new places and cultures and hopes to have many opportunities to do so throughout her life.
