KATRINA LAU
The President of UWiB strives to assist in the advancement and development of undergraduate women in business by inspiring, educating, and connecting them to the corporate world. She leads and supports UWiB in a way that will allow its members to be successful in achieving their goals and aspirations and in making a positive impact in their community.
As President of UWiB, Katrina strives to assist in the advancement and development of undergraduate women in business by inspiring, educating, and connecting them to the corporate world. She has a genuine passion for this thriving organization and is looking forward to further solidifying and expanding its many programs. Katrina is honored to have the opportunity to lead and support UWiB in a way that will allow its members to be successful in achieving their goals and aspirations and in making a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
Katrina is currently in her fourth year at the University of Washington where she was accepted into the business school as a freshman through the Freshman Direct Program. Within the Business Administration degree, Katrina’s focus is in Accounting. Upon graduation, her professional goals include pursing a Master’s in Professional Accounting and attaining her CPA certification.
Katrina most recently was the financial analyst intern at Amazon.com and has interned with organizations such as Liberty Mutual and BECU. She has also held positions within UW in the Professional & Continuing Education accounting department and HFS programs.
Last spring, Katrina participated in a semester exchange program with the University of Sydney and thoroughly enjoyed her four months in Australia. In her free time, Katrina enjoys watching movies, hiking, crocheting and cheering for the Mariners and Huskies.
