As President of UWiB, Wendy strives to assist in the advancement and development of undergraduate women in business by inspiring, educating, and connecting them to the corporate world. She has a genuine passion for this thriving organization and is looking forward to further solidifying and expanding its many programs. Wendy is honored to have the opportunity to lead and support UWiB in a way that will allow its members to be successful in achieving their goals and aspirations and in making a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

Wendy is currently in her fourth year at the University of Washington where she was accepted into the business school as a freshman through the Freshman Rapid Admission Program. Within the Business Administration degree, Wendy’s focus is in Marketing and International Business offered through the Certificate in International Studies in Business program. She is on the custom language track with Korean as her emphasis and hopes to also minor in the Korean language as well. In addition to UWiB, Wendy is involved with the Dream Project, an organization that works to mentor and help low-income, first generation high-school seniors pursue post-secondary opportunities. She currently serves on the leadership team, helping with corporate donors and partnerships with other programs.

Wendy has interned at an event planning company in Fremont working on various productions including Fremont Oktoberfest, Kirkland Uncorked, and Hop Scotch. She also has worked as a head coach for her former high school drill team in Burien, WA. Upon graduation, Wendy hopes to work for Teach for America as a staff member, pursue a Master’s in Public Administration and eventually land her dream job working for the NBA Cares program. Currently, she is studying abroad at Yonsei University.

In her free time, Wendy enjoys watching movies, running, shopping, scrapbooking and going to sporting events especially UW basketball games.
